                      TURNING  GLASS  INTO  ART

Nature Inspired Glass Art by Fay

Fay has always loved glass, starting from her Grandmother’s collection of Carnival glass to the great cathedral windows in Europe & everything in-between. When she learned that she could actually make stained glass windows she was excited. There was no looking back.
Each piece of glass art is handcrafted in her studio with a high level of craftsmanship & attention to detail.
Fay is inspired by nature & features many of the flora & fauna found in the Okanagan .
Signature motifs:
Dragonflies. Butterflies. Hummingbirds. Chickadees. Nuthatches. Vineyards. .Cherries. Apples. Trees. Mountains. Stones in the water.

Materials:   Fay uses recycled copper wire. Rusty wire.  embossed copper leaves. BC rocks. Sliced geodes & agates. Glass beads. Glass nuggets. Recycled chain & beads from broken jewellery .

Fay grew up in North Vancouver, spent 12 years in Montreal (where she learned her craft) & 16 years in Toronto where she did commissioned pieces & taught others the wonder of glass art.
Fay has called Kelowna home for the last 23 years & enjoys her many travels to Europe, Mexico, & Asia. Walking the Greenway, boating & skiing are some of her favourite things to do.

JEWELLERY:   Fay's  work features her own lamp work beads (made in the flame of the torch), fused glass pendants,  soldered & stamped sheet copper, unique wire designs  blended together to create one of a kind, original pieces.

All pieces are designed and made by me in my studio situated on  the shore of Okanagan Lake in Kelowna.
